Swiss Travels Itinerary 7 Glacier Train

Swiss Travels Itinerary 7 Glacier Train

By glaciers from Brig to Chur, the glacial trains are comfortable, with dozens of tunnels and more than 200 bridges passing through the beautiful Alps, passing through countless wet cloths (glacial towns, mountain pastures,  Dashan Creek, Huahai, etc.) Streams, canyons, plateaus and natural lakes, enjoy the scenery from a great view, and enjoy the magnificent view of the Alps, including the wonders of the glacier canyon.  Lunch on the train.

The car stops at the starting point of the glaciers: Chur, an ancient city! Chur itself is not big. After walking out of the train station, you can walk all the way across the street and you will soon be able to come to the old town.  Chur is the largest trans-shipment station for Swiss glaciers and is itself the oldest town in Switzerland.  Out of the train station, you can see a row of open-air coffee seats on the roadside. When the weather is good, Europeans like to sunbathe and drink coffee.  Strolling along the road across the railway station, I found that the town of Chur is also very lively.  On both sides of the street are shops selling things, mountaineering equipment stores, and some souvenir shops.  Many stores sell their clothes directly on the street.  Along this road, you can direct the direction of the clock tower of the steeple of Chur Saint Martin Church; on both sides of the street, almost every household is filled with the Swiss flag and the flag of Chur.  After that, I arrived at St. Moritz.

St. Moritz is located in the canton of Graubünden in southeastern Switzerland, southeast of Chur and the upper reaches of the Incheon Valley, surrounded by the beautiful Engadine Valley.  Surrounded by magnificent Alpine peaks, glacial water is supplied to the Rhine, Po River and Danube.  The population is 5147 (as of the end of 2012) and the official languages are German, Italian and Romansh.  Convenient transportation, the famous Retia Railway, and an important international air station.  Tourism is a pillar industry.
