The Alps is a mountain range in the heart of Europe, covering the northern border of Italy, southeastern France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, southern Germany and Slovenia. It can be subdivided into three parts, from the Mediterranean to the Western Alps of the Mont Blanc, from the Aosta Valley of Valle d'Aosta to the Brenner Pass (the junction of Austria and Italy), from the Brenner Pass to the Eastern Alps of Lovinia. Many large rivers in Europe originate here, and they are rich in water resources, making them a tourist, holiday and health resort.
There are 128 peaks in the Alps with an altitude of over 4,000 meters, the highest peak of which is 4810.45 meters above sea level, located at the junction of France and Italy. Open-air cog trains provide passenger services between Zermatt and Gornergrat up to 3,089 meters. When I came to Switzerland, the highlight was a close-up view of the snow-capped mountains.
